Hello. I just want to warn everyone to not leave their belongings/valuables inside their cars. I just came from the police station in Makati because my bags (nike sports bag and jansport body bag) got stolen. Items that were in the bags are 5k money,
important documents, mossimo shades (6k), pictures from a summer vacation, and gym clothes.
My car was parked at the
2nd level basement parking area of glorietta 4, right in front of the elevator entrance. I am certain that I locked the door but there was no sign of force entry. Aside from myself, items were also stolen from a van less than 50 meters away from where I was parked. Stolen from them were 5 gym bags, spare tire, ipod, and a basketball.
Although it's my fault to leave valuables inside my car, I didn't think that something like this would happen because I felt that the security in
G4 was tight. I can't do anything about it right now and I am not hoping that my things would be returned. I just want to share my experience with all of you. In a
thread in DIGITALPHOTOGRAPHER, somebody also experienced the same thing with his cameras and lenses . Please be careful with your things even in a supposedly secured parking area.
